T.O.M. Day On the second Saturday of every
month, the Trashbusters Program holds a cleanup event for residents to dispose of "hard to get rid of items". Residents
are encouraged to come to 62895 Highway 111 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to have free acces to dispose of items
not suitable for curbside pickup. For complete details on acceptable and non-acceptable items and a complete list of dates
for this event, please click here.Trashbusters Day Once per year, the
Trashbusters Program holds a massive community cleanup involving volunteers, community organizers, government organizations,
school groups, local sponsors and citizens. Three seperate sites are set up to allow all residents to dispose of their "hard
to get rid of items". Also, volunteers are provided with clean up materials to help with predetermined problem dump areas
and graffiti spots. All volunteers are provided with gloves, shirts, water, tools and transportation to and from the sites.
All volunteers are properly supervised and equipped to deal with the dump sites and graffiti spots located. After the cleanup,
all volunteers, sponsors and organizers are treated to a very festive BBQ lunch with entertainment and almost assuredly a
visit from T.O.M., the Trashbusters mascot. For more information on the event, or how to volunteer, please click here.
